An ancient, powerful suction technique used to decompress soft tissues, increase localized blood flow, and relieve stubborn pain.
Cupping therapy uses specialized cups placed on the skin to create a vacuum. The negative pressure draws skin, tissue, and muscle upward into the cup. This suction breaks up static fluid, releases tight fascia, and brings fresh oxygenated blood to the area to trigger deep cellular recovery.
Wet and Dry Cupping
Cupping dates back to ancient Egyptian and Chinese cultures. In modern manual therapy, we utilize high-quality medical cups and a rubber pump mechanism rather than fire to control vacuum depth. We use techniques like static cupping and dynamic (sliding) cupping to massage the fascia.
What to Expect
The suction will create circular marks on the skin ranging from light pink to deep purple. These marks are completely normal, painless, and represent static blood and toxins being drawn out of deep muscle layers. They typically fade within 3 to 7 days. Your skin will be treated with care, and post-session guidelines will be provided.
